1Introduction
Who we are and what this policy covers
Core Staff LLC ("Core Staff", "we", "us") is a Dallas-based recruitment firm placing professionals into roles across the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you visit our website, use our services, or apply through us for a role.
We act as a data controller for the personal information you provide to us as a candidate, and as a data processor in limited circumstances when handling information on behalf of an employer client. In all cases, we comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and other applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws.
In short: we only collect what we need to help you find the right role, we never sell your data, and you can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

3How We Use It
How we use your information
We use your personal information for the purposes that are necessary to deliver our recruitment services and to run our business responsibly. Specifically, we use it to:
- Match you to suitable roles and present your profile to potential employers, with your prior agreement.
- Communicate with you about applications, interviews, offers, and ongoing relocation or visa support.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects on you. Every shortlist and recommendation is reviewed by a human advisor before it leaves our office.
4Legal Basis
Our legal basis for processing
Under applicable U.S. privacy law, we process your data on the following grounds:
- Performance of a contract, when you engage us to help you find a role.
- Legitimate interest, to operate, market and improve our services in a way you would reasonably expect, balanced against your rights.
- Consent, for optional communications, certain cookies, and any sensitive data (e.g. health information for relocation insurance).
- Legal obligation, to comply with employment, tax or anti-fraud laws.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.
5Sharing
Who we share your data with
We share your information only when it is necessary, and only with parties bound by appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations:
- Prospective employers. Your CV and supporting information are shared only after we discuss the role with you and you agree.
- Background-check providers, used solely where requested by the employer and with your explicit consent.
- Service providers, including secure cloud hosting, applicant-tracking platforms, communications tools and payroll partners that help us run our service.
- Legal and regulatory authorities, where we are required to disclose information by law.
We never sell your personal information, and we never share it with marketing networks or data brokers.
6Transfers
International data transfers
Most of our infrastructure is hosted within the United States. Where data needs to leave the U.S., for example, to share your profile with an employer based outside Texas, we rely on:
- Federal Trade Commission adequacy decisions, where available.
- Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Federal Trade Commission.
- Additional safeguards such as encryption in transit and at rest, plus strict access controls.
7Retention
