Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Core Staff LLC ("Core Staff", "we", "us"), a company registered in Texas with offices at 1700 Pacific Avenue, Suite 3850, Dallas, TX 75201.
By visiting our website at corestaff.com, registering as a candidate, engaging us as an employer-client, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Plain-language summary: we provide recruitment support for candidates and employers, free of charge to candidates. Treat us and our partners fairly, and we'll do the same for you.
2Our Services
Services we provide
Core Staff provides recruitment, relocation and advisory services to professionals seeking employment across the United States and to employers seeking qualified staff. Our services include:
- Profile review, CV refinement, and interview preparation for candidates.
- Direct introductions to vetted employer-clients across the U.S.
- Visa and work-permit guidance, relocation logistics, and onboarding follow-up.
- Talent search, role scoping and shortlisting for employer-clients.
- Educational content, market reports and career resources published on our website.
We do not employ candidates directly. Any employment relationship is between you and the hiring employer.
3Account
Eligibility & account
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to work in your jurisdiction to register as a candidate with Core Staff.
You are responsible for keeping any account credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Please notify us promptly at contact@corestaff.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may decline, suspend or close any account at our reasonable discretion, including where information appears inaccurate, where we have grounds to suspect fraud, or where continued service would breach applicable law.
4Candidates
Your obligations as a candidate
As a candidate using our services, you agree to:
- Provide information that is truthful, accurate, complete and up to date.
- Hold (or be reasonably able to obtain) the qualifications and right to work that you represent to us.
- Treat our advisors, our partners and prospective employers professionally and respectfully.
- Tell us promptly if your circumstances change. For example, if you accept another role or no longer want to be considered for a position.
- Not apply through us in bad faith or to extract confidential information about employers.
Our service is free of charge to candidates. We never ask candidates for placement fees, deposits or "guarantee" payments.
5Employers
Employer-client obligations
Employers engaging Core Staff for recruitment services agree to a separate written engagement letter that governs scope, exclusivity and fees. In all cases, employer-clients agree to:
- Provide accurate role descriptions, salary ranges and benefit information.
- Treat candidate information as confidential and use it only for the purpose for which it was shared.
- Comply with all applicable employment, equal-opportunity and data-protection laws.
- Provide timely feedback on shortlisted candidates so that we can give them a fair experience.
6Fees
Fees & payment
Our recruitment, advisory and relocation services to candidates are provided free of charge. Where we offer optional premium services (for example, intensive interview coaching), pricing is communicated to you in advance and you can choose whether to accept.
Employer-clients pay placement fees and any retainer amounts agreed in their engagement letter. Invoices are issued in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Late payments may attract statutory interest and reasonable recovery costs as permitted by the laws of the State of Texas.
7IP
Intellectual property
All content on the Core Staff website, including text, graphics, logos, photography, software and the overall layout, is owned by or licensed to Core Staff and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell, reverse-engineer or otherwise exploit our content without our prior written consent. The "Core Staff" name and logo are our trademarks.
You retain all rights in your CV and the personal information you share with us; you grant us a limited licence to use that information for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy.
8Acceptable Use
Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services in any way that:
- Breaches applicable law, including employment, equality, immigration, anti-fraud or anti-money-laundering rules.
- Infringes the rights of other candidates, employers or third parties.
- Involves harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or threatening behaviour towards our team or any other user.
- Introduces malware, attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interferes with service availability.
- Scrapes, harvests or otherwise extracts data from our website at scale.
9Disclaimers
Disclaimers
We do everything reasonable to provide a high-quality service, but we make no guarantees about specific outcomes. In particular:
- We cannot guarantee that any candidate will receive an interview, offer or placement.
- We cannot guarantee the conduct of third-party employers, partners or service providers, although we vet them carefully before working with them.
- Information published on our website (including market reports and career advice) is provided for general guidance and does not constitute legal, tax or financial advice.
- The website is provided on an "as available" basis. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict any feature without notice for maintenance or operational reasons.
10Liability
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas or U.S. law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to that, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid to us under the relevant engagement in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one thousand U.S. dollars ($1,000).
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of reputation or loss of data.
11Termination
Termination
You can stop using our services at any time and request that we close your candidate profile by emailing contact@corestaff.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if continued service would expose us to legal or reputational risk, or if we discontinue a feature. Where reasonable, we'll let you know in advance and give you a chance to put things right.
Provisions intended to survive termination, including those relating to intellectual property, confidentiality and limitation of liability, will continue to apply after the agreement ends.
12Law
Governing law & disputes
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of them are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Dallas County, Texas, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your state of residence.
Before starting any formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. U.S. consumers can also use the Federal Trade Commission's consumer dispute resources.
13Changes
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice (typically 30 days) before they take effect. Continued use of our services after that point means you accept the updated Terms.
